The coolant temperature reading is implausible in context rather than out of range - for example not rising as the engine warms, or disagreeing with intake air temperature after the car has stood overnight.

- Heater slow to warm up

What to check, in order
- Watch coolant temperature through a full warm-up on the live data screen. It should rise steadily to the normal operating range.
- If it rises very slowly or plateaus low, suspect the thermostat rather than the sensor.
- Check the coolant level.
- Compare against intake air temperature on a fully cold engine - they should agree closely.
