An open circuit in the event data recorder request line. This is the signal that tells the recorder to capture vehicle data around a significant event - typically a collision. Nothing about how the car drives is affected; what may not happen is the recording.

What to check, in order

Read the restraints module as well. The recorder is usually triggered from there, and a restraints fault matters far more than this code does.
Inspect the connectors at both modules.
Check the wiring for chafe damage.
If an airbag warning light is on, treat the restraints side as the priority and do not work on restraints wiring with the battery connected.
